Tranquillity

The poetry of the fountain has oft been heralded by greats such as Goethe, Brentano and Schiller. Their steps are the scene of many a romantic encounter. About twenty years ago a number of French master craftsmen got together, to make sure that the glory of the old historical fountain does not get lost. This is but one of the many decorative and authentic fountains that have resulted from this endeavour. All of these fountains have been made my hand from French limestone.


Note:
Due to the natural properties of limestone the stone will turn a different colour as it weathers. This is a natural process that adds to the authentic character of this piece.

Assembly:
The fountain is assembled by a slot system, meaning that the individual parts are easily slotted together. Any cracks are filled afterwards with grout. So that the fountain does not sink into the ground, a concrete base (15 to 20 cm) will be necessary. The fountain should be emptied of water during winter to prevent frost damage.
Assembly and installation is not included in the price. An assembly guide is included in the order. We recommend that you have this fountain installed by a trained professional. We are happy to refer you to an appropriate service if you desire. Please don't hesitate to contact us!
