Metamorphosis

A transformation in bifocal perspective: on the one hand, because it seems that one planter springs from the other one, and on the other hand, with regard to the material. The planter also runs through a metamorphosis in its manufacturing from raw clay to fired Terracotta. The base material originates from Impruneta, a town in Italy which is very rich in clay, that can be fired to create high-quality and frost-resistant Terracotta. Hence, Impruneta is also the name of one of the best quality terracottas. The vessels are manufactured in a traditional factory in Italy where they are made by hand.
