Vase aux Béliers is richly detailed with motifs from Greek mythology, just as the early vases of the ancient world were often detailed, with pictures of heroes and gods. An especially nice feature is the reoccurrence of the ram motif on the sides of the pot.

Due to the natural properties of limestone the stone will turn a different colour as it weathers. This is a natural process that adds to the authentic character of this piece.
